Brrrr.. it's gotten as low as -5 overnight and the diesel heater is still keeping us toasty and a comfy 65 degrees inside the bus. One nice thing about the old Red Cross bus is the spray foam insulation in the ceiling, walls, and under the floor!

Towing the Jeep with the bus and had a speed bump catch me off guard. With the long overhang on the back of the Jeep it made it pretty violent!!!

So I spent some time trying to find pictures of my bus in Memphis red cross blood drives and figured out that the term "Lifeblood" was only used for Memphis blood buses and it's all over my bus so that simplied the search a bit. Apparently there has only been a total of 7 buses in Memphis over the years and mine was the oldest one I find pictures of. The first one in the pictures is similar body as mine, but doesn't have back windows and has some extra storage compartments so I know it's not mine, but it is the identical wrap and a full view so now I know what I'm dealing with and it makes allot more sense when I'm looking at what has been painted over and what I need to strip and remove to get back to paint again. The last 2 pictures are of a blood drive and they are standing in front of my bus so it verifies mine looked similar to the one in the first picture. I still need to keep looking for more pictures of my actual bus being used but it's cool that I found what I have so far! I really want to find a few full pictures so I can frame them and put them inside the bus.

After installing a new meter base, box, and wiring we passed inspection and got power installed at the base camp for our bus!!! This will be a spot for friends and family to pull into in the future and is a short walk from our house (but on higher ground and easier to get large vehicles in and out of).

We shall call this Camp Kee Hole... (it's play on the nearby spot on the river called the "Colten Hole"). “Come Early, Stay Late, Leave Happy”
