🚍 Big news for Florida transit professionals!

Palm Tran is proud to partner with Lively Technical College and the Florida Department of Transportation to launch the Florida Transit Technician Program at our Belle Glade facility.

This FDOT-funded program provides specialized training on fixed-route and paratransit bus fleets through a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on laboratory experience. Best of all, the program is free for technicians working at Florida public transit agencies.

"We are very excited to share our facility with Lively Technical College and host the training in Belle Glade. Palm Tran is the first transit agency in Southeast Florida to open its doors and host this training program at its facility where other transit agencies can participate," said Darryl Ramkissoon, Director of Maintenance and Facilities at Palm Tran.

Together, we're helping develop the next generation of skilled transit technicians and strengthening public transportation across Florida.
