The Smoking Cork Lake Placid's Wine & Spirits Boutique We are the only Liquor Store on Lake Placid's Main Street and the areas only Wine and Spirits Boutique! Cheers!

And, now, INTRODUCING our partner business - Stouts & Stogies - the location of the only walk-in humidor in the Adirondack Park and the only store in the area where you can find Premium Cigars, Micro-Brews & Specialty Snacks in one place! (Located right across from us!)

About The Smoking Cork! As a boutique it's our goal to offer a unique and personalized beverage retail experience, featuring hand picked wine & liquor selections from a majority of small production wineries & distilleries - ultimately providing an alternative to the ever present warehouse-fashioned liquor stores. Our hands-on service provides customers with knowledgeable confidence when buying our products - taking the guess work out of the vast world of alcoholic beverages. For us, the most important factor is not the name or current advertising behind a product, it is the taste and value that matter most! Like our page for updates on new products, special events, and features. And, always feel free to stop by the Alpine Mall to see all we have to offer! Featuring:
~ Delivery to the Lake Placid Region ~ Lake Placid Spirits ~ A Wide Range of Prices ~ Shipping ~ Gift Baskets ~ A Distinctive Variety of Scotch and Bourbon ~ Private Orders and Consulting ~ 10% Case Discounts ~ Scheduled In-Store Tastings ~ Pairing and Cocktail Suggestions ... etc. Hope to see you all soon! Happy Cinco de Mayo to all! Free tasting today and tomorrow from 3pm - 6pm. Just kicking off a beautiful new chapter of this store. One, built from scratch through a single idea based on experience and education.

While Stouts & Stogies was unilaterally dismantled, I need to be clear - The Smoking Cork, is not closing. New and fun things are in the works.

The space and its fundraising capabilities are one of the most important things to my continuing business. If you have interest in working with me (Jessie Seguin) always feel free to reach out.

Looking forward to seeing you! Come enjoy a taste of libation and cheers to all that can be!!!

I know The Cork has taken a break from posts… but with a new season comes new things! Stop down. Regular hours are reinstated and we look forward to all that is to come. Keep an eye out for the events that are in the works!
