RRTA has been providing affordable public bus transportation services throughout Lancaster City and Lancaster County, PA since 1976. The Authority was formed by joint action of Lancaster City Council and Lancaster County Board of Commissioners under the “Municipality Authorities Act of 1945.” Initially formed as an administrative agency, the Authority became an operating agency on April 1, 1976 wh

en it acquired the fixed-route assets of two private carriers. Our mission is to provide effective public transportation services to the citizens of Lancaster County and to perform these services at the highest standards of safety, courtesy, reliability, and efficiency.

Park(ing) Day is a global event in which curbside parking spaces are reimagined to show how much value a single parking space holds 🚗

RRTA’s Park(ing) Day display will be located at the corner of North Queen & East Walnut Streets from 5pm-8pm 🚌🙌
