We are looking for an experienced truck driver. We are a small Dallas, Texas based trucking company. We are currently looking for one to two drivers to fill he seats in two of our trucks. We are 100% flatbed company and potentially some Dry Van drop and hook in the winter. We are looking for drivers that have some experience and is determined, adaptable and caring.We are looking for somebody to spend two to three weeks out at a time. Must be able to pick up 50+ pounds. Job consist of dirty work tarping and string loads down. Unfortunately we are too small of a company to offer any benefits to our employees. We are extremely eager to hear from potential driver soon, remember here at JD CHI, we are all family.
Must live in Dallas, Texas, Atlanta, Georgia or in Birmingham, Alabama

We have ELD EXEMPT Trucks (ALL OLDER MODEL TRUCKS)

Pay: .55 cpm plus tarp
Mileage: From 2500 to 3200+
Payment Method: Deposit into Bank Account
Equipment: Trucks are 1999 or older, trailers are newer.
Requirements: Class A CDL License
Experience is a plus. Must be able to speak or understand some Spanish. Since some shippers and receivers speak and comprehend better in Spanish. Also must be a US CITIZEN, some shippers and receivers require this.
Responsibilities
Transport finished goods and raw materials over land to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers
Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts
Input “macros” into our automated system for each stage of the loading and unloading process
Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
Collect and verify delivery instructions
Report defects, accidents or violations
Skills
Proven work experience as a truck driver
Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB etc)
Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
No recent moving or driving violations
Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc)
Valid truck driving license
