The last four legged member of the Gates Carriages crew needs no introduction. He’s been everywhere from horse shows, polo games and practices, auctions, wagon rides, camping trips, horse sales, and pick ups, he is one well traveled dog. If the wagon or truck is pulling out, he wants to be on it. We think he’s been to more states than many people are lucky enough to see. The real boss of Gates Carriage Services (if you ask him), Gunther, whose favorite place is wherever his people are. 🐾

Heirogent Dun - AKA Amigo!
The best for last - if you ask Mikayla. Amigo has been around for all of it. Mikayla’s first horse, 4-H competitions, the first time we ever hooked a pair of horses, college, polo, the nieces and nephews first rides, the babysitter, he’s been there for it all. Even though he tries to match the Haflingers in color, he’s a true Quarter Horse who will do whatever (Mikayla) asks him to do. Gotta love the yella fella ❤️

Hank the Tank - He’s got a few quirks, but enough stomp to make up for them. Our only true fatlinger, he takes bulking season serious once those shoes come off.

Hank is the fastest moving horse that won’t move an inch unless you tell him to. He’s thinking constantly, but doesn’t seem to come to any conclusions.

From helping to make sure horses look their best in the ring, making sure we eat, helping unpack and pack the trailer, or just going on an adventure to find our next horse Julie is usually there behind the scenes.
