UPDATE - 8/28/2023 at 12:15p: Pinellas County Emergency Management has activated shelters in preparation for Tropical Storm/Hurricane Idalia. Therefore, all Pinellas County Schools and offices will be CLOSED on Tuesday, August 29 through Wednesday, August 30.
All sports and school activities scheduled for Tuesday, August 29 and Wednesday, August 30 are canceled.
We will continue to monitor the storm and any impact it has on Pinellas County.

Pinellas County Schools is closely monitoring the status of a tropical disturbance in the northwest Caribbean Sea that is forecast to move northward into the eastern Gulf of Mexico by early next week. The school district’s safety managers are communicating regularly with Pinellas County Emergency Management to stay apprised of the status of the storm and any impact it may have on our region. At this time, schools will be in session.
