Today, we honor and remember Captain Lincoln as he is laid to rest.

He will be remembered for his friendship, the knowledge he shared, and the many memories he created with those around him. As the video shows, he was a proud captain who truly loved what he did.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of a longtime member of the Gulf Coast Tugs family, Captain Lincoln Dardar.

Lincoln joined Gulf Coast Tugs in April of 2013, when we purchased the M/V Kendall J. Hebert, although we knew him long before that. He came aboard as the vessel’s captain and went on to make a name for both himself and the Kendall J. Hebert.

Lincoln always took great pride in his work, and over the years, he earned a reputation that spoke for itself. He made the Kendall J. Hebert known, and his hard work and dedication left a lasting impression on everyone who had the opportunity to work with him.

For more than 13 years, Lincoln was more than a captain—he was a valued member of our GCT family.

We are thankful for the years he gave to Gulf Coast Tugs, the memories he leaves behind, and the lasting impact he made on our company and the people around him.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Lincoln’s family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him during this difficult time.

Thank you for the years of hard work and dedication. You will be deeply missed. Fair winds and following seas, Captain Lincoln. Your watch is over. Rest easy. ⚓️🙏
