On this morning's walk I had to stop and capture this view. The overwhelming feelings of peace, gratitude and joy rushed over me.

Most of us have that one destinations where all these feelings coexist without fail. Mine is anywhere in the mountains and my most recent addition to that is in the middle of the ocean.😌

I love hearing where others find their own version of peace. Plus this will help those who don't have that destination some ideas where they can start to look for it.

Have you ever wondered why your hotel room isn't ready?

Hotels have check-in times because rooms need to be cleaned and prepped. One small thing you can do is let the front desk know when you've checked out. That way housekeeping can turn rooms over sooner, and it can help the next guest check in earlier.

Small habits like that make a difference for staff and travelers.

Do you think you have to save the full cost of a vacation before you can book it?

One of the limiting beliefs I hear from people who want to travel is, “I don’t have the money right now,” or “I need to save first.”

But here’s the truth: the majority of the travel suppliers I work with only require a small deposit at the time of booking. After that, you can often make payments over time, with no interest.

Instead of waiting until you’ve saved the entire amount, you can lock in your vacation and budget for it a little at a time. For many people, that’s much more realistic than coming up with one large payment all at once.

So if travel has been sitting on your “someday” list, maybe it’s time to rethink what’s actually possible. Your vacation may be closer than you think.

I have been doing a lot of learning, researching, and getting way too excited over cruise ships and itineraries.

This week, Virgin Voyages officially began sailing in Alaska and I have been fully invested in following along.

Which also means… I have special rates available on an Alaska sailing in June 2027. Glacier views, wildlife, cozy mornings, breathtaking scenery, and all the adults only Virgin vibes people already love.

Alaska already is a bucket list trip, but seeing it with Virgin just makes it even better.
