Procurement Officer

Seeking an experienced Procurement Officer for the Department of Management and Finance's Purchasing Division to prepare, review, and approve solicitations, negotiate contracts and manage the procurement process for a wide variety of products and services. This employee will have a high level of independence and discretionary authority in ensuring all procurement transactions meet ethical standards and comply with applicable laws and regulations. These responsibilities require an attention to detail, excellent writing skills and close coordination with other professional.

JOB SUMMARY

Supervises and performs professional work involved in the procurement of a wide range of materials, supplies,
equipment, construction and services ensuring compliance with established policies, procedures and
regulations, and does related work as required.

This is a full time/part time position with pay starting at $20 per hour.

The Forklift Operator will perform shipping & receiving duties, break down freight and categorize by location, read and document pack-slips and Bills of Lading, load and unload freight by forklift, perform general warehouse duties as needed following terminal specific requirements and Standard Operating Procedures.

Responsibilities:
- Load and unload trucks.
- Stock inventory.
- Palletize.
- Scan the Inbound and Outbound trucks when they load and unload.
- Log in the drivers on the Driver Log, log in the seal numbers on the Seal Log.
- Complete daily forklift checklist.
- Move materials throughout the distribution center and place products in designated areas.
- Retrieve and transport products to assigned slots.
- Identify products to be selected, sorted, and placed.
- Follow aisle specifications for product sorting and placement.
- Enter assigned products for each shift into the system.
- Operate industrial equipment including forklifts, and pallet jacks.
- Work safely to prevent injury and damage to products or equipment.

Logistics Delivery Driver

This is a full time/part time position with pay starting at $18 - $22 per hour.

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Delivery Driver. The Delivery Driver will be responsible for operating a Company vehicle to deliver product to customers. The Delivery Driver will also be required to manually load and unload the delivery truck, verify that all items are loaded and unloaded, collect payments from customers, obtain signatures from receiving locations confirming accuracy of items received, and deliver returned items back to the warehouse.

Qualifications:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
- Driving: 1 year (Preferred)
- Driver's License (Preferred)

Driver Responsibilities:

- Daily Pre-Trip Vehicle Inspection
- Load their vans every morning
- Deliver packages to houses, mobile home parks, apartments, and businesses.
- Able to lift and carry packages, sometimes up to 50 pounds each.
- Able to walk up flights of stairs to deliver.
- Make an average of 200 stops per day and need to get in and out of the van each time.
- Able to understand GPS directions
