After sailing on multiple cruise lines and visiting destinations around the world, I’ve learned that a little planning goes a long way toward creating a stress-free and unforgettable vacation.

Here are a few of my top tips for first-time cruisers:

⚓ Book early for the best cabin selection and pricing.
🧳 Pack smart and don’t forget essentials like medications, travel documents, and a carry-on bag for embarkation day.
🍽️ Make specialty dining reservations in advance if your cruise line allows it.
🛳️ Explore the ship on day one so you know where everything is located.
📸 Capture the memories, but don’t forget to put the phone down and enjoy the experience too.
