Today, Alpha Battery bids farewell to one of its finest, SFC Alfred Mora. From the moment he joined our ranks, SFC Mora dedicated himself to the mission, first supporting our rotation to Europe as a Section Chief in the Support Platoon. But it was in his role as 2nd Fires Platoon Sergeant where his leadership truly shined—his unwavering commitment, quiet strength, and unshakable character inspiring all who served alongside him.

His selfless service and devotion to his soldiers were evident during the Southern Fenix mission in Chile, where his guidance made a lasting impact. Alpha Battery is losing one of its strongest Senior Non-Commissioned Officers, but we take comfort in knowing that SFC Mora’s influence, experience, and patriotism will now spread across the Army.

Godspeed, SFC Alfred Mora. You leave behind a legacy of excellence, and Alpha Battery will never forget the example you set.
