The first mural in a planned aviation-themed series will center on the theme “Dream,” capturing the moment curiosity about flight first begins. Thank you to all the families that joined us for Storytime at the Airport today, hosted by Loudoun County Public Library. Stay tuned for upcoming Airport Storytime dates. In the meantime, please come to the airport to watch the planes from our observation patio and enjoy lunch while taking in the spring weather. The airport terminal is open daily from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.

A new art exhibit is on display at the airport. Megan O’Hanlon is a local artist and illustrator whose work celebrates femininity, nostalgia, and visual
storytelling through bold colors and composition. Using a vibrant color palette and decorative patterns, “Art in Flight” focuses on the glamour and symbolism of the golden era of flight attendants.
Megan is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design and is currently pursuing her MFA in Painting from the Savannah College of Art and Design. The airport terminal is open daily from 6 a.m to 9 p.m.
