Kitchen Family Trucking is a family of companies centered around the trucking industry. Kitchen Trucking in 1984 with just a couple of trucks and trailers down in southern Ohio. In 1994 the business relocated to Leipsic in northwest Ohio. We have been partners with PGT Trucking throughout. Today we have over 70 trucks in our fleet. We operate with all curtain-side and side-kit aluminium trailers. We also have a large variety of axle configurations. These include anything from 2 axle(spread axle) to 8-axle trailers, as well as B-Trains. We are agents for PGT Trucking Inc. and operate the terminals in Leipsic, OH and Dearborn, MI. We specialize in flatbed deliveries and cater primarily to automobile industry, hauling mostly coiled steel and steel products. We have local dedicated routes, regional, OTR, and Canadian compliant lanes of business. Along with our steel hauling and dispatch services we also have a new 14400 square truck maintenance facility. This facility allows us to keep our equipment in top shape. We provide roadside assistance and replacement truck towing capabilities to get our drivers back moving when a breakdown does occur.

Driver Appreciation Week may be behind us, but the appreciation certainly isn’t.

We had a great time celebrating with food, giveaways, and plenty of good moments around our terminals.

But those few days represent something we feel all year long.

To every KFT driver who puts in the miles, represents our company, and gets the job done safely, thank you.

Here are a few of our favorite moments from the celebration.

Before it reaches a jobsite, warehouse, or customer, somebody has to get it there.

On Manufacturing Day, we’re recognizing the men and women who make the products that keep America building, and the professional drivers who help move those products where they need to go. 🇺🇸

We’re proud of the role KFT plays in that chain every day.

They make it. We move it.

GOOD WORK DESERVES TO BE RECOGNIZED.

Around KFT, a lot of the things that make a difference happen when nobody is watching.

A driver helps out a teammate. Someone earns a clean inspection. A customer takes the time to compliment an employee. A truck is kept spotless. Someone steps up to solve a problem.
Those things deserve to be noticed.

That’s why we recently introduced the KFT Attaboy Program, giving our team a way to recognize coworkers who go above and beyond on and off the road.

Safety. Teamwork. Reliability. Professionalism. Taking pride in the job.

Big or small, those moments say a lot about the people behind KFT.

So when you see us giving someone a KFT ATTABOY!, you’ll know there’s a story behind it.

This one goes to Elbert S.! Congratulations, and thanks for always going the extra mile.

October miles just hit a little different.

Cooler mornings. Changing leaves. A whole lot of highway ahead.
But the mission stays the same: get it there safely, do the job right, and take pride in every mile.

Here’s to another month on the road with KFT.

We’re excited to welcome Rubin H. to the Kitchen Family Trucking team! Rubin will be driving with KFT out of our Cleveland terminal, not too far from the place he calls home.

When asked why he chose KFT, Rubin pointed to something that matters a lot around here: the family atmosphere.
“Everything about it just felt right.”

Rubin says one of the things he loves most about truck driving is the freedom of the open road, especially when those miles take him out toward the West Coast.

Off the road, Rubin enjoys skydiving and racing, and family is an important part of his life, including his mom, sister, brother, and four nephews. And when it comes to making life on the road feel a little more like home? Having his meal prep ready is a must!

Rubin, we’re glad you chose to make KFT part of your story. Welcome to the Cleveland team and the KFT family! Here’s to plenty of safe miles ahead.

Help us welcome Rubin to KFT!

Good drivers shouldn't have to wonder what next week looks like.

Consistent freight. Clear communication. Reliable support.

The things that sound simple are often the things that matter most when you're choosing where to drive.
