We’re looking for a carrier sales rep who is looking to join a team where they will have a chance at substantial growth right away. Mark-it Express understands that knowledge is the key to growth. We don’t just give you a computer and phone and tell you to “go sell”. We provide the tools for you to succeed by taking the time to train you, answer questions, and show you not only to talk the talk, but to walk the walk.
Carrier sales responsibilities are:
- Build real, strong, lasting relationships with trucking companies.
- Negotiate.
- Learn to keep up with the ever-changing market.
- A true team player willing to jump in to help everyone achieve success.
- Be honest with not only the team, but our carriers and customers.
- Have a sense of urgency to provide our customers with the best possible service.

Qualifications include:
- High school diploma required.
- B.A. in Logistics/Supply Chain, Business, or Marketing preferred, but not required.
- Minimum of two (2) years of carrier sales experience.
- Ability to think on your feet, evaluate all aspects of a situation to make a sound decision, creative problem solving skills, and remain calm in high pressure situations.
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively, both written and orally, with both teammates and customers.
- Must be able to prioritize, organize and multitask duties, shifting from one to another seamlessly.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, along with basic computer skills, including typing.
- Experience with McLeod Software is a plus.

This job is:
- Full-time
- Base salary + commission (salary based on experience)
- Monthly commission early on first dollar (no threshold to hit)
The schedule is:
- Monday through Friday (in office)
- Possible weekend and/or night follow up or recovery needed but can be done from home.
