Well I had a great opening day in Ohio last night! Been watching this guy for 2 years. Only seen him one time last year at 100 yards breading a doe. With the last rain the alfalfa field I set up in was as green as it could be. I had seen several deer than this big guy strolls right into 30 yards. We found him 120 yards later! Definitely my best Ohio deer and maybe my best ever we rough scored him at 158 and a half! Thanks Brandon Clos for all the help! Back to Ky and let's see what we can find!

We got set up right on them this morning! They flew down and came right into the decoys. It is some of the best footage I have ever got. Derrick put the smack down on one and I followed up quick for the double. Sometimes it works that good! Good luck to everyone still chasing them!

Occasionally pendleton county produces a true GIANT! This is one of them! When I say pictures doesn't do it justice I mean it ! Justin Godwin had this true GIANT come past him at 5 o'clock Saturday night. The first time he seen him was with a bow and he couldn't get a good shot. This time it happened really quick so there was no time for buck fever! What a deer it is! Big mass everywhere even the tines. Lots of kickers and stickers. You really can't get more out of a whitetail! With a gross score of over 192 I can tell you they don't get much bigger very often! I can also tell you this buck fell to a great guy! Congratulations!!! Justin!!! That's a buck of several life times!

Congratulations Hunter Clos! Hunter and his dad Brandon took this great first buck during youth season! I am sure it's the first of many to come for Hunter! I know they had a good time on this hunt and toped it off with Hunter's first deer. Remember to have fun ,be safe, and it more about the friends and family than the deer! Good luck the rest of the season!

Well Benny put grandpa on a good buck last night! We put out some corn then I went over where I thought this buck was coming from and sat down in the fence row watching a hay field. At 6:12 he came out and walked right to me. I shot him at 30 yards. You try to make a call to shoot a good buck and it hardly ever works out. This time it worked perfectly. Thanks Danielle and Justin for letting me hunt. Thanks Benny for helping me drag him out! He is the widest buck I ever shot at 21 inch inside.

The best plans go out the window when your trying to out smart big old turkey! After making several set ups we finally got in front of 4 big Tom's. Brandon's gun misfires and I got the one at the decoy! First time I have tagged out in a few years because we just haven't seen the turkey in the past years. Good luck if you still have a tag!
