I saw a post today with someone asking for dumpster rental companies and I was recommended numerous times. I don’t say that to brag. I say this because myself and the guys that help me, bust there ass on every job we get and it feels really great to see those recommendations and our work seen. I wanted to give a shoutout and thanks to Southern Maryland Decals - SOMDecals For designing, printing and installing our newly re-designed logo. They’re full of knowledge and great ideas. I’ll be honest, this should have been a single-load junk removal. However, I found a ground bee nest—and they absolutely ate my ass up.

So, change of plans.

I grabbed the jet ski and lawn tractor first and got out of there to give them some time to calm down. Dumped that load and came back for what I’m now calling the Ground Bee Hot Tub.

After letting them settle down for about an hour, I very stealthily got a strap around the hot tub without disturbing them again and winched it into the dumpster. Gave them another 15 minutes to calm down, then finished loading everything else.

What should’ve been a simple one-load job turned into a carefully planned junk-removal mission. 😂

Not every day goes as smoothly as you hope, but what matters is how you handle the obstacles and safely overcome them.

Yesterday was one of those days. Somehow, a door hinge on one of my dumpsters got ripped off, so I made a quick repair before delivery. Then, while trying to place the dumpster exactly where the customer requested, uneven ground caused it to slide off the rails.

I got the dumpster safely back on the rails and placed it as close as possible to the customer’s requested location.

Running a business means you’re always learning, adapting, and figuring things out as you go. I’m always trying to improve, keep my customers happy, and most importantly, get the job done safely and the right way.

Not every job goes perfectly—but you learn from it, fix the problem, and keep moving forward.
