Congratulations to Matt Sanchirico and to his instructor Travis for getting Matt's solo flight in today, Matt is an incredible student and really soaring in his lessons!

It was also a surprise to have his parents show up and cheer him on, which is really cool!

Wrap Up Wonder - Give the Gift of the Sky and Adventure this Christmas

Not just a gift, an experience that they won't soon forget! The Lewiston area is very scenic with the Snake river, Palouse hills, Clearwater, Heller bar, to name a few... Being in the air in a smaller Cessna is a different experience then flying commerial jets with experienced pilots and very well maintained aircraft we will have you feeling safe 🎅🏼✈️❄️

AOPA is accepting applications for its 2025 scholarships through December 31, 2025, with awards ranging from $250 to $14,000.

The scholarships are open to AOPA members who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents and support flight training, advanced ratings, and aviation maintenance.

A separate spring 2026 application window will be open from April 1 to June 30, 2026.

How to apply: Create an account in the AOPA scholarship application system and complete the general application to be matched with eligible scholarships.
