What a day it was for the 9th LTTP pull...

15 hours on the grounds....
9.5 hours of pulling...
Approx 130 hooks...
Our first year selling out of food...
..all for the The Lewistown FFA and Cuba FFA..

We couldn't have asked for more perfect weather on an August day, for more amazing volunteers than we had making things run as well as they did, for all the kids who showed up for the kiddie pull - there were 15!!! For the crowd, the pulling organizations, our announcers....we could go on forever...

We went home as we have every year tired and knowing we got it all done and it went great and knowing we still have a lot of clean up and work to do to wrap things up but with that same pride we always feel at the end of another successful event and at the end of the day that is why we do it again and again 💙💛

Thank you to everyone who came out to sponsor, volunteer, provide a service, enjoy the show, participate in the pull and make it keep happening here in the heart of Fulton County Illinois. We are so very grateful for a community that gives generously so that we can give our town another great event to attend that gives back to the FFA kids who then multiply that generosity back into the community because of the donations they receive.

The weather looks great today. Come support The Lewistown FFA and Cuba FFA groups at thd Fulton County Fair, Lewistown Illinois . The pulling starts at noon. They will be serving pork chops and other food. We got 50/50 and T shirts too. Want thank all are great sponsors and staff to help put this on.

ATTENTION ALL BACKROAD PULLERS MEMBERS!
With the big three pull weekend coming up, we would like to announce a special award.
An anonymous donor as agreed to sponsor a TRIPLE CROWN SHOOTOUT!
$300 to the winner.
This award will be awarded and paid out at the awards dinner.

THE RULES ARE SIMPLE:
All Backroad Pullers classes are included for one jackpot.
Vehicle must be a registered Backroad Pullers membership vehicle.
Must hook at least once each shootout pull to qualify.
Each vehicle’s best 3 hooks (by points) for the weekend are added up for shootout total.
Highest shootout total wins the JACKPOT!!
Points are grouped by vehicle, just as they are for Championship points.
Ties are settled using a dice roll.

Unfortunately, due to the heavy rains we received in Lewistown, the fairgrounds are unusable for our pull has been rescheduled to Sunday, August 23rd at 12 PM, please share and help let others know that we will be holding off till next week so we can still bring you a great event for the FFA kids

We presented Addy Stufflebeam and the Cuba FFA with a $5,000 donation from the 8th Annual Lewistown Truck & Tractor pull on Tuesday, January 20th at the board meeting for Cuba CUSD #3. This brings our total donations to Lewistown & Cuba programs to $76,600 these past 8 years. We love helping these ambitious young kids grow and achieve more with the additional funding to their chapters and we look forward to helping them reach more goals with our 9th annual pull on August 16th, 2026.
