Today, our hearts are heavy.

The R & C family is deeply saddened by the tragic loss of a TDOT worker in today’s accident on State Route 179 in Haywood County.

As a proud partner of the Tennessee Department of Transportation, we have the privilege of seeing firsthand the dedication, professionalism, and sacrifice of the men and women who work every day to keep our roads safe. Today, we mourn alongside them.

Please join us in praying for the worker’s family, friends, coworkers, and the entire TDOT family as they face this unimaginable loss. May God surround them with His comfort, strength, and peace in the difficult days ahead.

To every TDOT employee: thank you for the work you do, the risks you take, and your unwavering commitment to serving the people of Tennessee. Your service does not go unnoticed, and you remain in our thoughts and prayers.
