This Driver Appreciation Week, we are pleased to spotlight Ronald Gay, a Company Driver at Terminal 710 in Lima, OH.
Ronald first became interested in driving after working in construction and later taking a position in the garage of an LTL trucking company. Spending time around the trucks and talking with drivers sparked his interest in getting behind the wheel himself. After joining Quality Carriers®, Ronald found the change he was looking for and has continued to grow his career at Terminal 710.
Ronald says he enjoys his work, appreciates the improved home time, and enjoys spending more time with his family. He credits having a great terminal team with making even the more challenging days easier.
Ronald’s Terminal Manager, Joe Werling, shared, “Ron is always willing to tackle a challenge and open to stepping in wherever needed. A safe, dependable driver, he supports other drivers by sharing the best routes and customer specific tips to help new and seasoned drivers succeed. Ron has been an outstanding member of our team and we appreciate everything he does for us each day.”
