1st rough cut on one side. 4 step process with this kit. Arm day 💪🥵. IYKYK. The aluminum tank has never been polished that we know of. Luckily the truck has never seen road salt. Jet-A refueler truck is circa 1998. The mirror finish with the new Avfuel stickers will be worth the effort. The old Epic logos came off with some elbow grease. Not much to do on a rainy Saturday except clean. Might as well give it a shot ourselves. Stay tuned 😉🤑🤑🤑

Out with the old, in with the new. Its always a guessing game......"when is it a good time to take the jet refueler truck out of service.......never!!!!!" The old turbocharger had an oil leak and turbos get very hot, so a fire hazard was a real concern on top of the 3000 gallons of jet fuel she hauls around. Today felt like the day to do it. No surprises! No broken studs. Starts, stops, and goes 🤓😎

Here’s a great way to end any day and the month of April in 2026. Carter Verbryke completed his first solo in N78197 at the Allen County Regional Airport KAOH. That’s the Cessna 172 we use for flight training.
After months of weather that we had to cancel many lessons , everything aligned and he did the equivalent of a buzzer be**er before sunset. 4 textbook like approaches and landings. The sunset and moonrise made it even more memorable.
