Blue Heron Logistics is still growing! We are seeking Class A CDL drivers that put safety first and foremost. In addition, have the ability to provide excellent customer service and exceed our partners' (customers) expectations. This non-traditional driving position is primarily for regional work with occasional opportunities to travel further. If you are looking to be home more than on the road this is the position for you. A clean MVR and drug screen are required along with a passion for driving. Mechanical and flatbed aptitude are a plus. Please no MVR surprises as all applicants need to be approved by our insurance provider first.

Driver Responsibilities
· Complete a daily truck log (ELD)
· Observe and report equipment or mechanical failures immediately
· Manage routes and routines so they proceed in the most efficient way possible
· Find ways to conserve resources, including fuel
· Happily, serve the customer in every interaction
· Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle and report any problems or damage to management
· Comply with all DOT and in-house regulations and rules
· Time management to exceed the customers’ expectations
Truck Driver qualifications and skills
· Examples of Truck Driver skills
· Class A driver's license in good standing
· No serious tickets or accidents in last 5 years
· No DWI/DUI in last 10 years
· 1+ years' commercial driving experience required
· Mechanical aptitude preferred
· Time management
