Is your truck ready for the summer heat?
Before you hit the road, take a few extra minutes during your pre-trip inspection to check the areas that matter most in high temperatures.
As part of your daily walk-around, open the hood and check your coolant level, radiator hoses, belts, and any signs of leaks. Make sure hoses are not cracked, loose, swollen, or leaking, and that belts are properly secured and in good condition.
Once you’re on the road, keep an eye on your dashboard temperature gauge. Rising engine temperature can be an early warning sign of overheating, low coolant, radiator issues, or belt problems.
A few minutes of checking before the trip can help prevent hours of downtime on the road.
Drive safe. Stay alert. Keep your truck summer-ready.
