Core Helicopters has the biggest and most advanced fleet of Robinson R22 and R44 Helicopters in NYC; exclusively maintained in-house to impeccable commercial standards with a perfect safety record. Our FAA certified flight instructors specialize in beginner and advanced helicopter flight inst

ruction as well as aerial photo flights. We're located less than 10 minutes (by helicopter!) from New York City, and also accessible 7x24 via NJTransit trains from Penn Station.

The Cobra flies very much like our Robinson helicopters with a 2 bladed rotor system, and yes if you get an FAA Helicopter license you too can get type certified and fly a Cobra as well! (d-militarized w/o the bullets in the multi-barrel Miniguns... alas)

Only $125,000 each. Designed by Petter Muren from Prox Dynamics AS of Norway. 10cm (4 inch) by 2.5cm (1 inch), 15 grams, flies at 35 KPH(22 MPH) in 15 knot winds for up to 25 minutes. GPS or visual navigation via remote video. Equipped with 3x steerable (pan/tilt) video cameras and is essentially inaudible from ~3-5 meters. Has autopilot via autonomous and direct modes with remote control from up to 1000 meters (~0.5 miles). Must be approved by Norwegian Military to purchase.

The Hirobo HX-1 Personal Helicopter. Limited hover tests conducted in 2012, full flight tests planned for 2013. Design goals: 30 min flight-time, 60MPH air-speed all electric, fly-by-wire controls, coaxial rotors. Development budget set at $125 million.
