Traveling to Orlando? I recently stayed at the Towneplace Suites on Flamingo Crossings. It was a nice place. It sits just outside Disney's gates. I stayed in a junior king suite.
Pluses:
Not too crowded but definitely busy.
Breakfast was free but it was basically the same thing every morning. Fried egg, Canadian bacon, yogurt, cereal, waffles, orange slices, bananas, oatmeal, orange and apple juice, coffees, teas....
As a bonus it has a couple of areas you can reserve for outdoor entertaining to include grills.
The poolside bar and indoor bar/grill is shared with Springhill Suites next door. The drinks were good and not watered down. The wings were tasty without the sauce.
A small family (2-3 children) would like it. Or family reunion groups would enjoy it.
The location is right at disney.
Minuses:
The pool is shared with the Springhill Suites next door so it was often standing room only. The same is the case for the poolside bar.
The A/C had a mind of its own. The room was very cool so I would increase the temp on the thermostat but later it would reset itself to a lower temp.
I don't think I would recommend it for a couples get away.
It sits across from a cow pasture and there is nothing of interest in walking distance.
All in all, I would give it one thumb up.
