05/22/2026, finally we can see the frog of our switch. At one time four administration's back this was going to be the east end of our passing siding. Until the President at that time frame decided to have a chain link fence built in the middle of the right of way. This was done to keep the former tire 🛞 plant employees from eating their lunch on our track. Don't ask, you just had to be there.

My view on 05/21/2026, we see that Jason Gilsinger has been mulching brush from Garden Street going east towards 3rd Street. This is near the former Pennsylvania Railroad Yard X also known as the former Vandalia Rwy.

As of 05/15/2026, the Logansport & Eel River Shortline Co. stockholders approved the sale of the railroad to Mr. Ed Raye seen in the photo taken from last year or so. We congratulate him on this victory and the early retirement gift. We hope to have the sale closed in 3 to 6 months.

05/02/2026, Our track looking east towards Michigan Avenue. After we cleaned up most of the scrap rail and put in 15 relay ties. I still have to tamp the ties up to the rail and spike them to gauge.
