2017 Quartz Mountain Flyer Schedule

Saturday April 8th - bring a basket for the Easter Egg Hunt. "Tickets will cost $15.00 per person.

Saturday May 13th - bring a canned good to help “Stamp Out Hunger”
Saturday July 1st - Lone Wolf’s 4th of July celebration– LOTS of activities
Saturday August 19th - enjoy cold watermelon at the station
Saturday September 23rd - a big surprise! Saturday October 28th - wear your Halloween costume
Saturday November 18th - Santa will be here! (Babies and Toddlers may ride on you lap at no charge)"

Boarding begins 9:30 AM; train Departs 10 AM and returns by 12:30 PM

Two-hour narrated round trips for up to 125 persons will depart from Quartz Mountain (intersection of Routes 44 and 44A) at 10:00 a.m. and include a brief stop-over at Lone Wolf.

Statement from Farmrail
"Farmrail will be selling our passenger cars after the end of 2019. One of the cars has sustained significant damage. The cost for repairs is high and during this stage of our business we can’t justify the expense. We have loved being able to provide this service in the past years to many communities on our network. We will continue to be involved in all our communities in others ways. Thank you for your understanding."

Sad to say that our Saturday trip with Santa was the last run ever for the Quartz Mountain Flyer. It's been a wild ride for these many years. The Lone Wolf Greeters would like to thank Farmrail and all the volunteers who make the Flyer a great time for the thousands of folks who rode her.
