The DB Catalina is helping maintain one of the most important waterways in the United States, supporting roughly $100 billion in trade annually. The scale of this operation, the crews behind it, and the nonstop work required to keep commerce moving are hard to fully appreciate until you see it up close.

The Curtin Maritime crew traded hard hats for rods and reels last week on an unforgettable trip to Isla de Cedros with Cedros Sportfishing BCM. Cedros Island is a bucket list trip for many, and from the looks of these pics, it did not disappoint. Getting to Cedros requires chartering a plane for the team. Remote Pacific waters, giant yellowtail, incredible food, and nonstop laughs with the boys made this one for the books. Baja living at its finest. From sunrise runs across the island to chasing boils on pangas offshore, Cedros delivered everything it’s famous for.
