More shuttle options are available this August.

Our regular Boston to Maine shuttle continues every Tuesday and Thursday, and our new weekly route connecting Washington, DC, Delaware, Philadelphia, New Jersey, and New York begins Thursday, August 6.

We are also offering dedicated Southeast and Texas to New York shuttle runs from August 24 through August 28.

All shuttles originate from and return to our Northeast facilities. Contact our team to reserve space or coordinate a pickup.

Our August West Coast Shuttle is on the road August 10 through 21, with separate North and South routes serving destinations throughout the Northwest, California, Southwest, and Texas.

We are also offering a Southeast Shuttle from August 11 through 14, with stops in Richmond, Norfolk, Charlotte, Atlanta, and Savannah.

A look behind the scenes at the careful handling , rigging and movement of an Ancient Maya carved column at the Worcester Art Museum .

Maquette designed and built the custom crate and provided rigging on site.

We were proud to assist with the installation of this monumental work by Ugo Rondinone in collaboration with Tishman Speyer and ugo rondinone .

Projects of this scale demand precision, planning, and trust across every team involved, from logistics and engineering to placement and final presentation. Our crew worked closely with all partners to ensure the sculpture was safely and seamlessly installed within the space.

We are grateful to collaborate with organizations and artists who continue to shape meaningful public experiences through contemporary art.

Thank you to Huntington T. Block Insurance, Berkley Asset Protection and Glenstone Museum for the invitation to participate in this year’s DMV Fine Art Insurance Symposium.

It was a privilege to present alongside such an experienced group of professionals and to spend the day discussing the challenges and best practices surrounding fine art transportation, loan agreements, risk management, and collections care.

A special thank you to Glenstone Museum for your exceptional hospitality and for providing such an inspiring setting for the event. We appreciate the opportunity to share Maquette’s perspective and to engage in thoughtful conversations with colleagues from across the museum, registrar, and insurance communities.

Over the July 4th weekend, Maquette was honored to support a remarkable and highly visible project on the National Mall.

Our team was entrusted with the handling, framing, transportation, and installation of a collection of historic American flags displayed during a July 4th event. The project came together on an accelerated timeline and required close coordination among multiple organizations, along with meticulous preparation, handling, and installation.

Featured artifacts included historic American flags associated with significant moments in U.S. history.

A This was far more than a typical installation. In addition to the complex logistics, our team custom-framed several of the historic flags in-house, ensuring each piece was prepared with the highest level of craftsmanship, precision, and care.

Projects like this exemplify the dedication, expertise, and adaptability of our staff. We are incredibly proud of our team and grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the preservation and presentation of these extraordinary artifacts. It was a privilege to play a role in helping share these powerful symbols of American history with the public.

We were proud to host the Association of Registrars and Collections Specialists for a two day contract courier workshop.

From transit and cargo logistics to crate solutions and client trust, the program covered each stage of the loan process. The group also toured our crating and packing room and DSA screening area, where freight can be cleared without unpacking.
