Pour one out for the Spirit in the sky. I know we all made fun of them but let’s not pretend we didn’t all have one moment where we saw that fare and said "ok fine ruin my day." There was something special about knowing your flight cost less than the Uber to the airport and still being offended that they wanted money for a bag. Spirit was ghetto in the way only a 6am flight out of MCO can be ghetto.

Make Business Class Great Again?

Delta just unveiled their new Delta One suite, coming in early 2027. We’re talking a 24” 4K OLED screen (biggest of any US airline), a flat bed 3 inches longer than before, Bluetooth, wireless charging, and a self-serve snack bar just for business class. US carriers have long played catch-up to European and Middle Eastern airlines in the premium cabin wars, and Delta, United, and American are all making serious moves to close that gap. Delta pioneered all-suite business class back in 2017, and this $1 billion upgrade is their biggest investment since.
