Hello everyone, my name is Zack, and my father is Dan. We are the owners of RuffStuff Specialties.
We have had an incredibly challenging 10 months that have put us in the toughest spot we have ever faced since we started this company 20 years ago when I was 13 years old. We’ve had hard cards dealt our way pretty much every way they can be dealt. Massive sales drop, supplier drama, tariffs on Heims and brake calipers exploding, an BS employee settlement that almost crushed us, and struggling to reduce our overhead to stay above water and keep our guys employed and orders flowing, plus so much more.
At the end of 2025 our other business partners left and we’ve been trying to get the company back on track and reverse the damage. However we are still struggling to keep promised lead times and take care of the customers who have supported us.
My father and I are both incredibly sorry for letting so many of our long-time customers down. You guys are what helped us build an awesome company and provide some great jobs that have built wonderful lives for people. We are grinding hard every day, trying to get it together and make things right with our customers. If our sales team hasn’t gotten back to you, I am sorry. They are beyond swamped and are struggling to get through weekend callbacks while trying to answer the incoming calls and emails.
I know this all sounds like a BS sob story, and I totally understand if you want nothing to do with us ever again. For anyone else, I hope we can earn your business again once we get this great company, the place I’ve worked at my entire life, back on track and caught up.
As now being the second in command, this is all my fault, I’m sorry from the bottom of my heart that I’ve let you down, and we will keep grinding to get back in your good graces.
