Got a text like this? IT'S A SCAM! DMV will NEVER text you about fines or suspensions.

Don't click any links or share your financial details via text.

How to spot a scam:
• The phone number is blocked, from another country, or you don’t recognize it as an in-state area code.
• The scammer prompts immediate action, with a threat of immediate consequences if you don’t comply.
• It sends you to a website that does not end in .gov

The DMV will never share your information with outside parties.
