Let’s soak up the summer sun with our new 2026 Summer commemorative TAP card. Summer is here and it wouldn’t be complete without a belly full of ice cream, a dip in our beautiful ocean, and a brand-new TAP card for your collection! As you travel across LA with your new Summer TAP card, be sure to listen to our new Summer 2026 Playlist on Spotify. Board a bus or train on any of our 27 transit partners to get to great summertime events across LA County, like the LA International Music Festival in Downtown LA, Shoreside Spritz Day Party in Santa Monica, the Hard Summer Music Festival in Inglewood, or Free Movies on the Beach in Long Beach. Find our latest release at Metro Customer Centers and select TAP vending machines, while supplies last. Cards are $2 plus the cost of fare. Be sure to check the header at the top of the TVM to ensure card availability.
