AF will be will be closed September 17th and 18th. This is part of a compulsory test conducted by FF staff in conjunction with the CPUC to demonstrate the safety systems. We will resume normal operation Thursday the 19th. 6:45a - 10p. Thank you.

Just wanted to update everybody.

We took advantage to being closed last night and had a fantastic drill last night. LAFD #3 was with us.

The painting is going well. The east and south facing walls of the station house look fantastic… We’re going to be starting on the arch today.

In talking with our contractor, we will be ready to open on Saturday morning.

I’m going to do a walk-through on Friday morning and look for touchups and or anything else we need to do…

(UPDATE: We weathered the storm well and opened at 6:45 AM this morning.) We will have regular hours tonight, then close for the storm. We project that we will be closed Sunday & Monday. I will update this thread when more information is available. Thanks.

Angels Flight Railway will be running a modified schedule on July 9th from 8am - 8pm. Our scheduled operator has a family matter to attend to. Thanks for your understanding.

We closed this morning at 9:59am this morning for some unscheduled maintenance. We're looking to reopen this afternoon. I will update this thread.

(we reopened at 8:59pm) We stopped passenger service at 3:36pm as we were having some problems with our controls.

Service is aware of the situation and are working on it remotely at the minute. They may be dispatched to work on it later tonight. Our plan is to reopen today. I will update this thread.

(Update: we reopened the same day an hour later. Thanks) Angels Flight is shut down due to a fault in the system. Our service department is dispatched, and on the way. We are looking to re-open this evening. I will update this thread.
