The Morning Star Trucking Company Founded in 1970, MSTC provides well-organized transportation services for bulk tomato operations thr We use bigger trailers so we have fewer trucks.

Located in both northern and southern California, the world's most prolific tomato growing region, The Morning Star Company is not just another manufacturer of bulk tomato products. Our commitment to our customers is to provide their specified product quality - with excellent service - at prices that help them compete effectively. We take an active role in making the lives of our customers better through cost effectiveness, excellent service and superior customer support. Morning Star began as a trucking company in 1970, and we still haul all our own tomatoes. To improve the efficiency of the logistics of bringing tomatoes from the field, we harvest and haul them. This allows us to not only bring in the freshest tomatoes but also lower the cost of having them delivered.

🚛🍅 THE LAST LOAD | 2026 TOMATO HARVEST SEASON

And just like that, another harvest season comes to an end.

At approximately 5:00 AM, truck driver Alexander Custodio arrived with the final load of the 2026 tomato harvest season, marking the close of another season filled with hard work, dedication, and countless miles.

Behind every load is a team of hardworking people who give their best, day after day. From the fields to the factories, every mile traveled and every long day played a part in making this season possible.

We are incredibly proud of what we’ve accomplished together and deeply grateful to every colleague who contributed along the way.

One season. Countless miles. One team.

🚛🍅 EL ÚLTIMO VIAJE | TEMPORADA DE COSECHA DE TOMATE 2026

Y así, llegamos al final de otra temporada de cosecha.

Alrededor de las 5:00 de la mañana, el conductor Alexander Custodio llegó con el último cargamento de la temporada de cosecha de tomate 2026, marcando el cierre de otra temporada llena de esfuerzo, dedicación e incontables millas recorridas.

Detrás de cada carga hay un equipo de personas trabajadoras que dan lo mejor de sí, día tras día. Desde los campos hasta las fábricas, cada milla recorrida y cada larga jornada fueron parte fundamental de esta temporada.

Nos llena de orgullo todo lo que hemos logrado juntos y de una profunda gratitud hacia cada compañero que aportó su esfuerzo durante el camino.

October Tomato Update 🍅

As the harvest season comes to a close, the majority of this year’s tomatoes have been harvested, transported, and processed. What began in the fields is now preparing for the next chapter of its journey, becoming products that will reach homes and tables around the world.

Behind every step of this journey are the hardworking colleagues whose dedication and commitment make it all possible.

With pride and gratitude, we thank every colleague for another season of hard work and shared accomplishments. Together, we are the committed and united Morning Star Family!

Miguel Romero began his journey with The Morning Star Trucking Company as a truck driver in 2002. Through his dedication, experience, and willingness to take on greater responsibilities, he now also serves as an instructor and assists with truck checkouts, helping prepare and support fellow drivers for success.

Miguel’s journey shows the meaningful impact of continued growth and using one’s experience to help others succeed. During Truck Driver Appreciation Week, we are proud to recognize Miguel and grateful for his commitment and all he contributes to our team.
