COMMERCIAL VEHICLE SAFETY ALLIANCE
During 2017 the top five warnings/citations issued to CMV drivers were:
1) State/Local Moving Violations — 84.2%
2) Speeding — 7.2%
3) Failure to use a Seatbelt — 2.6%
4) Faliure to obey Traffic Control Device — 2.5%
5) Using a Handheld Device — 0.8%

Reminder: it is ALWAYS better to receive the citation over the warning because a citation can be fought to reduce or remove the CSA points associated with these violations!
