July is National Culinary Arts Month, and Chef Kat's story has always included the best of both worlds.
She grew up in Bangkok with a Thai father and an American mother from Louisville.
Her father's side shaped her love of authentic Thai food.
Her mother taught her the foundations of baking.

Chef Kat added to her education through memory, trial and error, curiosity, and the occasional YouTube video.

Today, both sides of that story live at Brownsboro Center.
