Today the world has lost a true American icon, Dolly Parton. While she was globally revered for her legendary music and boundless philanthropy, she also held a special place in military aviation history with this unforgettable image which captures Dolly during a high-profile June, 1991 morale visit to Fort Hood, Texas, following Operation Desert Storm. Positioned behind her is a rugged United States Air Force A-10 Thunderbolt II "Warthog." Featuring its iconic, aggressive shark-mouth nose art.

About the Blue Angels.

A former Blue Angel pilot who did two tours with the Blues as BA #3 and #4 in the early 2000s got in touch with me. He asked me to do these two Super Hornet tails for him to honor his tours with the Blues. I made a couple of desktop minis for him too!
