The LRTA Announces The Current Fare Free Program Has Been Extended Through July 1, 2027 for Fixed Bus Routes and Road Runner.

The LRTA wants to Thank Governor Maura Healey and Lieutenant Governor Kim Driscoll, as well as the Massachusetts State Legislature for funding this Fare Free Transportation Program that will greatly benefit our communities.

State Rep. James Arciero (center) recently toured the LRTA bus maintenance facility and dispatch center on Hale Street in Lowell and met with administrative officials, including Administrator David Bradley and General Manager George Anastas. The Westford Democrat is chairman of the Joint Committee on Transportation and is a key supporter of state and local public transit initiatives.
