We've added a new bus stop for the new residence hall at 1 Merrimack Plaza. Using this stop may require a little more planning than usual. To help, we created a transit guide for 1 Merrimack Plaza residents.
Weekdays Between 7 a.m. - 11 a.m.
Start by taking the Orange Connector from 1 Merrimack Plaza to University Suites. Shuttles depart approximately every 10 minutes.
For service to North Campus or the Lowell Train Station, transfer to LRTA #20 at USuites. Buses depart every 30 minutes, full schedule at LRTA.com
For South Campus, take the Red Line from the East Campus bus stop.
Weekdays Between 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Orange Line Day Service after 11 a.m. connects 1 Merrimack Plaza directly to USuites, North Campus, and Meehan Student Center. Shuttles depart approximately every 12-15 minutes.
For South Campus, take the Orange Line to USuites and change to the Red Line from the East Campus bus stop.
Weekdays Between 6 p.m. – Midnight, and Weekend service
Orange Line Night & Weekend connects 1 Merrimack Plaza directly to East Campus, Meehan Student Center and North Campus. Shuttles depart approximately every 15 minutes.
For South Campus, transfer at East Campus to Red Line Night & Weekend.
When Purple Line is active, 1 Merrimack Plaza becomes a request stop.
