As we prepare to begin another season this week, we want to take time to acknowledge the passing of a very special person.
Shelly McLean lost her battle to cancer in January, and she will forever be missed. She was not only a great horsewoman, a true Islander, an animal lover and advocate, but she was also family. There are no words to express our deep sorrow. We hold our memories with her close to our hearts.
Please hug your loved ones a little closer, and give your furry friends some extra love as Shelly would have wanted. We will be honoring her life with a celebration on Saturday, May 30th.
