We are a family-run 24/7 towing & recovery business serving California's Central Valley since 1950. In the 1970s Eppler Towing had a growing fleet & business.

COMPANY HISTORY
The Eppler brand of companies was founded in 1950 by John Eppler in Firebaugh, California. An Arkansas native, John moved to California during the Great Depression. After working many jobs, starting a family & striving to be his own boss, John opened a local Union 76 service station. Through the service station, John realized that there was a growing need for towing services. John

was now working with his son, Duane running both the service station & towing business. John’s youngest son, David, grew up around the towing business & developed a passion for it early in his life. While in high school David was known to go out on tow calls at all hours of the day & night. His passion for the industry was evident. In the 1980s the Eppler Towing fleet expanded to include heavy-duty wreckers. The service station was closed as John, Duane & David worked to grow the tow business together until Duane’s untimely passing in 1995. At that time, David took over operations & expanded Eppler Towing to include specialized recovery, transport, road service, truck repair & truck sales. David married his wife, Meme in 1989. Their daughter Holly was born in 1993 & grew up around the towing operation just as her father had. Holly had a love for tow trucks from an early age & constantly begged to go on tow calls... she even had a tea set in the sleeper. Holly began working in the family business at a very young age. Working in the family business is how she met her husband, Ryan Ormonde. Ryan also grown up in a family that ran a towing business. The match couldn’t have been more perfect. Their daughter, Blake was born in 2022 & they hope she enjoys growing up in the industry as much as they did. Holly & Ryan took over Towing & Recovery operations in 2021 as the third generation. Holly & Ryan will continue to provide the highest quality service, with first-class & industry-leading equipment & technology. We’ve partnered with Luke Bryan’s Farm Tour in Clovis! We’re offering free tows home and winch outs for passenger vehicles stuck in the parking lot. Let’s keep the roads safe, don’t drink and drive.

First come, first serve until 2am for light duty services.

A heavy unit is also on scene for commercial vehicles and limos that need assistance. Standard rates may apply.
