North Carolina Ginseng Association Established in 2013 in Marshall, NC, we are comprised of farmers that grow wild simulated ginseng. This is critical to wild-simulated ginseng farmers.

Our Goals

Educate & Encourage:

~The conservation and protection of American ginseng
~Sustainable production and harvesting of woods-grown, organic, wild-simulated ginseng
~State/Federal legislation affection growers
~Value added ginseng products

Support and outreach:

Assist NC wild-simulated growers in finding and developing US sources of distribution rather than overseas. Efforts to Grow Wild-Simulated Organic Ginseng

We are looking for members who grow and sell organic wild-simulated ginseng. If we combine our local resources for product testing for ginsenosides and large US herb companies testing for contaminates instead of exporting, we may provide NC wild-simulated organic growers a market advantage for quality.

I will be hosting an Earth Day Event in Marshall. We will be doing invasive plant clean up, path maintenance and tree planting at Baynard park. We will then head to Eagle Feather Organic Farm for a plant walk, potluck and drum circle. All are invited! Spread the word!
