Announcement for the airport appreciation day/ balloon festival!!!

Due to the short nature of our airport appreciation day (10:30am to 1:00pm September 5th) we will be doing airplane rides during the Balloon Festival instead (4:00pm to 10:00pm September 5th) we will be offering airplane rides from 4:00pm to 8:00pm for $40 per person. We want everyone to have an opportunity to fly and feel that how short our airport appreciation day is would not give us time to have as many people fly!

We will still be at airport appreciation day with all our aircraft on display included our new Piper Twin Commanche multi engine trainer! We will be happy to show everyone the aircraft and talk during airport appreciation day!

We apologize for this change we had hoped to make airport appreciation day even bigger this year but we hope next year that we will be back at it again bigger then ever!

Please come out and support your local airport during airport appreciation day! Everyone is welcome and it is free to enter!

Join Us for the Fly In Breakfast Next Saturday!

The Monroe County Airport will host its monthly Fly In Breakfast this Saturday morning, and everyone is invited!

Where: 350 Airport Rd., Madisonville, TN 37354
Time: 8:30 AM
When: May 9th (and the 2nd Saturday of each month)

Come enjoy a great breakfast, fellowship with friends and neighbors, and watch aircraft fly in from across the region. It’s a wonderful opportunity to support our local airport and experience a unique part of Monroe County.
