Ralph C. Weiser Field

Ralph C. Weiser Field Magnolia Municipal Airport has served the Magnolia area for many years and has recently changed the name to Ralph C. Weiser Field.

Magnolia Municipal Airport was built with a hard-surface runway in 1953 and enjoyed nine years of airline passenger service to Magnolia Airport which ended in 1962 with the withdrawal of Trans-Texas Airways. In July 2016, the Board unanimously decided to change the name to Ralp C. Weiser Field in honor of the late Ralp C. Weiser who had been a long time active board member. The Airport covers an a

rea of 272 acres at an elevation of 319 feet above mean sea level. It has one runway designated 18/36 with an asphalt surface measuring 5,008 by 100 feet.
