We had a wonderful time Friday at the Nursing Home and we even had time to stop by the senior center and plant our vegetables for the season! Who says getting old is no fun?

WE HAD A FANTASTIC TIME AT OUR EASTER PARTY!! We were celebrating Easter, getting ready for spring and having lots of fun!! We even got to celebrate a birthday for one of our special ladies that comes faithful to our center! We serve food daily at 12pm if anyone 60+ would like to come eat with us or be looking out for our next party and come celebrate with us!! 💜

We have been doing a Bible Study at the center using The Chosen for years, and it is one of the most most joyous and informative gatherings that we have for deepening faith and enjoying historical and cultural context in the Gospels and we have faithfully followed the show up until now. That is not stopping here. Today is Good Friday, and we should never forget that without today’s pain, suffering, and loss, there would be no joy from the Resurrection on Sunday. Season 6 of The Chosen will be hours of showing every detail from every moment in the 24 hour period of Good Friday, concluding with a feature-length film for the finale, the crucifixion of Jesus. That makes today the best time to announce that Season 6’s first 6 episodes will begin releasing on November 15th, 2026, with the film of the most important moment in all of time, Jesus’ crucifixion, coming out close to Easter next year. Will you join us on this road to Calvary? We are continuing our Bible Study now from the beginning to catch right up with Season 6 in November. Join us, you will not regret it.

I hope you wore green on St. Patrick’s day because we had a little leprechaun at this senior center ready to take action!! We had a great St. Patrick’s Day party with lots of food, fun and games!! Come check us out, we serve lunch daily at noon!

Join us again today at 2:30 for The Chosen Bible Study as we watch Season 1 Episode 2 “Shabbat” and discuss Jewish culture, the benefits of rest, and more as we see Mary Magdalene after her healing… Can’t wait to see everyone and don’t be afraid to join if you haven’t already! Remember the Bible Study portion starts around 3:30 so you can join us for just that part as well.

📣🚨 In the couple years we have almost doubled our client list for home delivered meals and we are delivering 100’s of meals a week to the elderly in Clay County.

We want to continue helping as many elderly individuals as we can that qualify. If you or someone you know that is 60+ and is in need of a home delivered meal daily throughout the week, please reach out to us so we can help.

We even offer daily lunch at our senior center and provide transportation to and from the center if you don’t drive.
We have activities daily for those that want to participate but it isn’t required.

All are welcome to The Chosen Bible Study at the senior citizens center starting Monday March 9th at 2:30 PM! We are going back to Season 1 Episode 1, so it’s a GREAT opportunity to join our small community where we study the Bible through the show “The Chosen” to really consider what life had to be like for Jesus and his followers. It’s been a while, but the time has finally come.

Join us weekly on Monday afternoons at 2:30 PM for The Chosen Bible Study at the senior citizens center! Every week we will watch an episode of The Chosen, the hit series about the life of Jesus filled with cultural and historical context to his real journey through the eyes and emotions of his followers. This show is an excellent tool to see some context to the scriptures that we normally don’t see or think about. We highly encourage anyone interested to join us this Monday! We are going back to the very beginning, Season 1 Episode 1. We are on a “Road to Calvary” journey as we approach the release of Season 6, which will highlight the crucifixion. We can’t wait!
