A sad loss to the Icy Roo Krewe and our condolences to Bruce's Family, Friends & A&O Team... Salutations and Accolades to a dear and beloved friend...

It is with great sadness that the A&O family informs everyone of the passing of Bruce Smith, vice president of Operations. Bruce died peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, July 2, at 3 a.m. at his farm in Pennsylvania. Bruce was a part of the original A&O team who brought the concept of mounted patrol security into mainstream use. He has been a consistently valuable and loyal team member. Many of us have benefitted from his knowledgeable equine training, devotion to public safety, and good humor. Arrangements are pending and will be announced on this site. Our deepest condolences to Bruce's family, friends, equine partners, and all those who will miss him most. RIP, Bruce, until we meet again.
