Manchester Transit Authority Providing local bus services in Manchester, the Manchester Transit Authority also offers a commuter

The Manchester Transit Authority was established by the City of Manchester in 1973 to provide mass transit service for the Manchester community. In addition to providing public transportation, the MTA also provides pupil transportation for the Manchster School District.

Effective September 5th ONLY from 8:00am to 6:00pm, buses will be re-routed to pickup and dropoff along Lake Ave and Chestnut Street. Delays are to be expected, as Elm Street will be partially closed for the 25th Annual Classic Car Show.

Routes 1-12 and 41 will pickup/dropoff along Lake Ave.
Routes 21, 22, 23 will pickup/dropoff along Chestnut Street.

Friday, 9/4 - The Welcome Center will be open 6:30AM-8:30PM
Saturday, 9/5 - The Welcome Center will be closed.
Monday, 9/7 - The Welcome Center will be closed.
