"This design takes the place of traditional set-ups which require:
- (2) Clamps (2) sides of clamp,
(2) bolts, (2) nuts. Total Pieces = 6
- (2) Stringer brackets require (2) sides,
(2) bolts, (2) nuts. Total Pieces = 6
- (1) Crossarm
For a total of 13 pieces that can fail or drop in in the lake sending you to the local hardware store.

with a single set screw per/side. Nothing to lose, nothing to break. Can't get much easier than this. This will be the last crossarm you ever buy.
